Creating a Checklist
The checklist process provides you with Business Advice Packs tailored with legislative information to your business needs. You will end up with your own workspace area that stores printable and updateable business advice packs, please start by selecting your business sector from the home page or the Advice page.
My Workspace
When you register on ERWIN you can store your Business Advice Packs in your Workspace area. You will also have the following:
- Ability to update your password
- Ability to update your name, email address
- View a list of Links relevant to your business type(s)
- Update your preferences to subscribed news
- Provide feedback
Document Search
You may use the document search function on the home page to search for specific legislative areas. By typing in a keyword the results will return the types of businesses it appears in.
Local Authorities Information
If you need advice on anything to do with your business that is related to Trading Standards but you can't find it on this website, please contact your Local Council office. They will be best placed to help you. If you need help finding your Local Council you can use the LA finder on
